Deb Berg

Deb started out on our board as a Region Rep., this was her first year working with the Great MN Cheer Off.  She has coached cheerleading at Zumbrota-Mazeppa High School for about 12 years.  She was a high school cheerleader and always watches the cheerleaders at sporting events.  Her favorite cheerleading memories are coaching her squad (including two of her daughters) at the MCCA State Cheer-off in 2006 and having a cheer squad at the State Boys’ Basketball a few years ago where the team and coach invited the girls to the MSHSL-sponsored dinner, where the girls were the only cheerleading squad in attendance and were acknowledged by the coach. Other than cheerleading,  Deb is a Medical Secretary at the Mayo Clinic’s Department of Radiology.   Deb married her high school sweetheart and has been married for over 18 years, and has four children ranging from ages 4 to 17.
